I was honored this past spring to be one of 9 authors interviewed during a week-long celebration of the Ontario Library Association’s annual Forest of Reading event. This was thanks to my young-adult novel Stowaway (Dundurn Press) being nominated for a Forest of Reading award. The event was hosted by the Peel School District in Ontario. Thousands of students and teachers participated in this celebration, all virtually. The clip also features “queen” of ceremonies Melanie Mulcaster, instructional coordinator for libraries in the Peel District School Board. The virtual event was hosted by Daniel Lewis, Peel graduate, entrepreneur and motivational speaker.
