My new young-adult adventure novel Tracker’s Canyon is out, and the first party celebrating its publication is tomorrow, noon to 2 pm at the Indigo bookstore on Granville and Broadway (2505 Granville) in Vancouver, Canada. I’ll offer a reading or two, sign books, answer questions and show video clips of the exciting sport of canyoneering! Publisher: Dundurn Press
Speaking of Tracker’s Canyon, here’s a glimpse of a review of it in the August 2017 issue of School Library Journal:
“This is not a novel for the faint of heart. Its realism makes for moments of palpable danger and doubt. But the story is grounded in the author’s experience and research. The prose is easy and clear and the main character is thoughtful and likable. … A great choice for filling the dearth of realistic adventure novels for the middle school crowd and a solid mystery.”
