Imagine my delight at presenting to students in Picton, Ontario today in a historic library: one that has been continuously operating since 1910, and is a charming red brick building with two fireplaces and an aquarium inside! Julie gave me a grand tour before the students appeared. Rowan won the book during first session, and Harrison during the second session.

Then on to Trenton to present at the Quinte West Public Library, where Chelsea was my helper. The highlight was being told by a teacher that this is Farley Mowat country: and he’s my favorite author. No wonder so many of the grade four students knew who he was. Photos below. Onward to Buckhorn and Peterborough tomorrow!
