Book trailers are all the rage these days, but not all of us have the technological or artistic talent to create one, and some of us have never gotten around to hiring someone else to do it. So imagine my surprise and delight when I learned that a group of Grade Eight students at Jack Chambers Public School in London, Ontario, Canada had, for a school project, created a book trailer for my novel First Descent! Students Tajriyan, Kayla and Mimas, under their teacher Claire Gulliver, created the brilliant trailer I’ve just posted on my home page (scroll down for it). All I can say is “Wow,” and have these students ever got a great future, whatever careers they pursue. Thank you, Tajriyan, Kayla, Mimas and Mrs. Gulliver, and I look forward to meeting you when I’m in London in May! Pam Withers
